WEC Energy Group has announced the acquisition of a 90% ownership interest in the Delilah I Solar Energy Center, a significant development that underlines the company’s commitment to investing in clean and reliable energy sources.
This 300 MW solar energy facility is strategically located around 140 miles northeast of Dallas, Texas and was developed and built by Invenergy. Commercial operations are anticipated to commence by the end of June.
Delilah I forms an integral part of the broader Samson & Delilah solar portfolio, which encompasses five phases. Notably, WEC Energy Group already holds a majority interest in Samson I, a distinct phase of this comprehensive solar initiative.
