Array Breaks Ground on State-of-the-Art Solar Manufacturing Facility

Array Technologies, a leading solar technology company, has made a significant stride in cementing its position in the domestic solar supply chain with the commencement of its groundbreaking new manufacturing campus in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The $50 million facility, made possible in part through Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) tax credits, is projected to usher in a new era of growth, job creation, and enhanced American energy independence.

Emphasizing its commitment to multifaceted operations, the 216,000-square-foot campus will house key functions such as production, assembly, design, engineering, and customer service. The consolidation of these critical activities under one roof is expected to streamline Array’s operations and elevate its capacity to meet the evolving demands of the industry.

In addition to the instrumental role of IRA tax credits, the company was able to materialize this expansion with the aid of economic support from the Local Economic Development Act job-creation fund. Further bolstering the investment landscape, the City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County extended crucial assistance through LEDA funds and partial property-tax abatement via an Industrial Revenue Bond.
