EDF Renewables North America and Enbridge have recently celebrated the commencement of Phase 1 of Fox Squirrel Solar, situated in the picturesque landscapes of Madison County, Ohio. This utility-scale solar project is a monumental addition to the renewable energy landscape, providing an initial generation capacity of 150 MW to power the PJM grid.
A remarkable feat of engineering, the Fox Squirrel Solar facility boasts a total capacity of 749 MW and is being implemented in three distinct phases. Notably, the first phase is equipped with a staggering 1.4 million solar panels and 159 inverters.
