GE Vernova, a global leader in energy solutions, has recently joined forces with Our Next Energy in a bid to accelerate the development of battery energy storage solutions in the United States. This strategic collaboration aims to utilize locally manufactured batteries to enhance the capabilities of GE Vernova’s Solar & Storage Solutions business projects across the country.
Under the partnership, Our Next Energy will supply its battery modules equipped with lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, which are manufactured in the United States. By integrating these American-made LFP batteries into their projects, GE Vernova and its customers will be able to leverage incentives provided by the Inflation Reduction Act and investment tax credits, further boosting their overall cost-effectiveness.
This collaboration not only sets the stage for transformative advancements in energy storage but also aligns with the overall goals of both companies, which are committed to promoting clean energy and mitigating the environmental impact of traditional power sources.
