Aspen Power has recently completed the construction of 14 solar projects in Georgia, expanding their renewable energy presence in the state. Acquired from Inman Solar, these projects collectively generate a capacity of 49.4 MW DC, with Aspen Power assuming the role of long-term owner and operator. Inman Solar played a crucial role in originating, developing, and providing engineering, procurement, and construction services for these projects.

With this latest addition, Aspen Power now boasts a robust solar portfolio in Georgia, encompassing a total of 43 projects and over 140 MW DC of generation capacity. This exceptional growth reflects the company’s commitment to fostering clean energy development in the region.

The newly acquired portfolio consists of ground-mounted solar panels equipped with single-axis trackers. Primarily situated in the southeastern part of Georgia, these systems will directly supply energy to Georgia Power through long-term power purchase agreements. This collaboration is part of Georgia Power’s 2020 Distributed Generation Request for Proposal (RFP), aligning with the company’s vision to promote sustainable energy practices.

This significant growth by Aspen Power underscores the company’s contribution to Georgia’s clean energy objectives and marks another milestone in the pursuit of a more sustainable future.
