Belectric Floating Solar System Conducts Successful Integration of Intelligent Solar Solutions

Belectric Israel Ltd., one of Israel’s leading solar engineering, installation, and service providers, has successfully implemented advanced technology from Tigo Energy Inc. for their innovative floating photovoltaic (FPV) system. Partnering with Tigo, a renowned provider of intelligent solar and energy storage solutions based in California, Belectric has achieved a milestone in the region’s solar industry.

The 19.3 MW FPV system, designed, purchased, and constructed by Belectric, incorporates Tigo Energy TS4-A-2F MLPE devices for rapid shutdown capabilities. Additionally, the system utilizes Tigo RSS Transmitters with Pure Signal technology specifically designed for large and complex commercial and industrial solar arrays. Generating enough clean energy to power approximately 3,300 households, this pioneering FPV system is built above an active fish farm, showcasing the integration of renewable energy with sustainable aquaculture practices.

Tigo RSS Transmitters, based on patented advanced rapid shutdown technology, successfully interface with a wide range of industry-leading third-party solar inverters. This compatibility not only allows solar installers and engineering procurement construction (EPC) companies the flexibility for various system designs but also contributes to significant reductions in balance of system costs and labor requirements.

Belectric’s deployment of Tigo Energy technology in their floating solar system marks a significant advance in Israel’s solar industry and signifies its commitment to clean, sustainable energy generation. The successful integration of intelligent solar solutions further demonstrates the potential of renewable energy and highlights Belectric and Tigo Energy as frontrunners in the field.
