DMEGC Solar and TUV SUD Forms New Partnership for Zero-Carbon Factories

DMEGC Solar, a renowned manufacturer of high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) modules, and TUV SUD, a global technical service provider, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a shared mission to pursue carbon-neutralization and zero-carbon factories. This landmark collaboration aims to leverage their respective strengths and expertise in various aspects of sustainable manufacturing, ultimately leading to the certification of DMEGC Solar’s first zero-carbon factory in October 2023 and the completion of carbon inspections for all DMEGC Solar module factories by early 2024.

DMEGC Solar has long been committed to integrating green and low-carbon principles into its production processes. As early as 2013, the company constructed a 20.7 MW distributed PV project at its Hengdian factory, capable of generating approximately 20 million KWh of energy annually. The company was also among the pioneers to receive the French low-carbon certification and has earned several esteemed international certifications, including ISO14001 and ISO50001.

In a recent stride towards environmental sustainability, DMEGC Solar implemented a company-wide initiative to utilize 100% green electricity across all module production lines. By tapping into local clean energy resources and embracing electricity generated from renewable sources, the company has taken significant steps towards promoting green and low-carbon manufacturing. The newly established partnership with TUV SUD is poised to further drive progress in renewable resource utilization, energy efficiency management, optimized energy structures, and advancements in PV technology research and development.

The strategic cooperation agreement between DMEGC Solar and TUV SUD highlights their unwavering commitment to sustainable practices and innovation in the solar industry. By prioritizing carbon-neutralization and zero-carbon factories, this partnership is poised to set a new benchmark for environmentally conscious manufacturing, contributing to the visionary goal of achieving a greener and more sustainable future.
